When I joined to assist with an indie feature film in Aberdeen, South Dakota, I started as a camera PA. However, as I became aware of the small crew size, I stepped in to assist in various capacities. This included helping with lighting, being an extra on set, and capturing behind-the-scenes photos during downtime. This experience gave me valuable insights into adaptability and responsibility, surpassing what I had learned from my college projects. It reinforced the importance of staying proactive and being willing to lend a hand wherever needed.
